Overview

Pre-ECTRIMS 2025: Key Advances and Ongoing Debates in MS

Held annually ahead of ECTRIMS, the Pre-ECTRIMS Course offers a focused update on the latest developments in Multiple Sclerosis research and care.

The 2025 edition will explore new insights into immunopathogenesis, imaging, and fluid biomarkers—with particular attention to how these may distinguish relapsing-remitting from progressive MS.

Discussions will also address how these findings influence the mechanisms of action of emerging treatments, and a dedicated ‘controversies’ session will tackle hot topics such as MS prodromes, PIRA, machine learning in prediction, and late-onset MS.

Organised in collaboration with the European Charcot Foundation, this course continues to be a key meeting point for advancing MS knowledge.
